Erin Merryn intends to lobby legislators in all 50 states and the District of Columbia until they all pass Erin’s Law.

The following states have now passed Erin’s Law in the month and year listed:

  1. Missouri – July 2011
  2. Indiana – April 2012
  3. Maine – May 2012
  4. Michigan – January 2013
  5. Illinois – February 2013
  6. Arkansas – April 2013
  7. Mississippi – April 2013
  8. Nevada – May 2013
  9. New Mexico – February 2014
  10. Utah – March 2014
  11. Tennessee – March 2014
  12. New Hampshire – April 2014
  13. Pennsylvania – April 2014
  14. Connecticut – May 2014
  15. Louisiana – June 2014
  16. South Carolina – June 2014
  17. Rhode Island – June 2014
  18. California – August 2014
  19. West Virginia – March 2015
  20. Oklahoma – April 2015
  21. Colorado – May 2015
  22. Oregon – June 2015
  23. Alabama – June 2015
  24. Alaska – June 2015
  25. Maryland – 2016
  26. Delaware – 2016
  27. North Dakota – 2017
  28. Montana – 2017
  29. Texas passed a similar Jenna’s Law in 2009
  30. Vermont passed a law similar to Erin’s Law

Erin’s Law has been introduced and is now pending in these additional states, with more to come:
