After cop gives talk at Portland school, girl confides she’s been raped
In December 2018 a Portland, Oregon police officer talked to students about sexual abuse. A girl confided in him after that she had been raped. A man was arrested for this on December 19th after confessing to police. He has been charged with 11 counts of first degree rape. He is looking at facing up to 100 years in prison. Erin’s Law passed in Oregon in 2015. Senator Tim Knopp was the sponsor of the bill.
