Graduation-Masters of Social Work

May 10th was a beautiful day. As Mother’s everywhere were being celebrated I celebrated a major accomplishment in my life graduating with my masters in social work. Finishing my masters in just ten months. It feels amazing. Looking back on the past 5 years since I graduated high school I could have never imagined I would have come this far which is why I have no doubt in anything I set forth to do the rest of my life. Some may find this hard to believe but when I happen to every now and then pick up my first book Stolen Innocence and start reading a page I feel like I don’t even know the person I am reading about even though it is myself. It really shows me how much I have grown and overcome. How much I have triumphed over and continue to do.

As one door of my life closes and the chapter of my college years are now memories to look back on I look forward to the door straight ahead excited to see what the future has in store.
